xq Beats 2.0 pumping up the volume
Troisdorf, April 24, 2012 – xqisit xq Beats 2.0 Bluetooth speaker pumping up the party all summer: we'll soon be having xqisit's successful pocket speaker not only kicking off a throbbing bass, it'll be looking the part too. The fresh new colours – blue, green and pink – will be giving this handy-dandy little sound pounder the look to go with the sound. Apart from that, you'll find useful additional features such as a speakerphone with a built-in microphone and call waiting.
Weighing in at just 230g, this wireless speaker gives you high-definition stereo sound output that'll knock your socks off. The passive subwoofer keeps the device booming in the low-frequency range, too. The new xq Beats 2.0 has surpassed its predecessor in optimised usability and more sure-footedness on flat surfaces. This Bluetooth speaker is only available from Telecom Germany. "e;Guy Spillebeen will be contributing his broad expertise in this important position,"e; said Gudmundur Palmason, Managing Director of STRAX. The new COO will not only be bringing his diverse experience in governing bodies of internationally operating companies to the table, but also a wide range of references from within the mobile telecommunications industry. In his new role, Guy Spillebeen will be reporting directly to Gudmundur Palmason. The new Chief Operating Officer has clear ideas about the future course of STRAX group – "e;The market is growing. We have an excellent position on the European market, a position that we should continue to expand. We also see great potential in the non-European markets."e; Spillebeen, who speaks six languages fluently, began his career at Siemens AG twenty-five years ago, and has since then worked on every continent. The 48-year-old will be bringing extensive expertise in the telecommunications industry from his previous position in the mobile arm of Siemens AG, where he was responsible for the markets in Southern and Western Europe as well as Latin America. There will also be a lot happening in the product portfolio at STRAX – "e;We'll be putting a lot more emphasis on our own brands such as xqisit and Enjoy in all the relevant target markets." Apart from that, STRAX will also be aiming towards manufacturing more collections under licensed fashion and lifestyle brands such as HUGO BOSS and Diesel, according to Spillebeen. "We've set our sights on giving our customers something to be thrilled about every day with our lively, fashionable accessories."e; Spillebeen worked for several internationally active companies before joining STRAX; most recently, he acted as the General Manager for international sales, production management and marketing at ADB Airfield Solutions, a Belgian specialist in airfield ground-support equipment. Before that, he acted as the Vice President for Latin America as well as Southern and Western Europe in the mobile phones division at Siemens AG. Guy Spillebeen is married with four children. |
