Product Manager - New Fashion Brand Mobile Accessories

I. Job purpose
The Product Manageris responsible for managing the xqisit product portfolio. This includes the management of new ideas, the search of potential suppliers and partners together with Purchasing, the follow-up of the development of the product with the Development and Quality Control Team in Hong Kong in order to respect the defined Time to Market, communicating the product strategy and pricing together with Marketing and Sales, managing the product portfolio during its lifecycle.

Support of 10 subsidiaries abroad and at HQ (Germany)
Product management andpresentingproducts internally and externally

III. Main tasks Product Management
  • identify and assess the quality of products and develop the product portfolio
  • liaising with Development and Quality Control (QC) Team in Asia for testing of products
  • plan the product portfolio and its price structure during its lifecycle
  • present the product portfolio internally and externally
  • ongoing product support and assistance
  • assist with design in products and packaging (where required) liaising with Marketing and Supply Chain
  • assist in international, domestic trade shows / meetings and provide evaluation
  • management of Phasing Out (PO) and End of Life (EOL)
Languages: fluent in English (written and spoken), German and another European language is an asset

Specific skills: Good presentation and project management skills

Experience: at least 2 years of experience in product management of consumer electronic goods or fashion articles

Product Manager - xqisit Accessories

I. Job purpose

Purchasing Manager - xqisit Accessories

I. Job purpose
On behalf of STRAX, find vendors of products,evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, service, availability, reliability and selection variety. Negotiate the best prices, terms and conditions.

II. Dimension / Key figures
Manage supplier(s) and stock levels at set KPI (30-45 stock days) against sales history (customer sell thru) and forecast.
Ensuring product availability and accuracy of inventory levels based on product assortment and sales expectations.
Negotiating directly with suppliers in China.

III. Main tasksPurchasing
  • establishing suppliersfor mobile accessories
  • prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders
  • negotiating the optimal prices, terms and conditions
  • inventory planning & forecasting with suppliers
  • inventory and stock management,reduce stock levels improve availability (per supplier)
  • support of delivery dates for all back order items
  • negotiating and planning quarterly promotions / bundles
  • assisting in negotiating MDFs and quarterly / yearly Bonuses
  • assisting in Request for Quote (RFQ) , Request for Information (RFI)
  • continuous accuracy of data creation and in-put of all relevant data (purchasing related) on Navision e.g. Item code, description, EAN code, Tariff, Posting group, weights and product images
  • constant management of items and its life status e.g. Phasing Out (PO) and End of Life (EOL) stock
Languages: fluent in English (written and spoken), German and another European language is an asset

Specific skills: Good negotiation and planning skills

Experience: at least 5 years of experience in purchasing of consumer electronic goods and dealing with Chinese suppliers

Purchaser and Product Manager - OEM and Brands

Tasks Purchasing & Productmanagement
  • prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders
  • negotiating the optimal prices with suppliers
  • inventory planning & forecasting with suppliers

Skills and Education:
  • commercial degree or university degree in economics
  • several years of experience in purchasing of consumer electronic goods
  • industry knowledge preferable
  • profound MS-Office knowledge and high affinity in ERP-System (ideally Microsoft Dynamics Navision)
  • business fluent English, each further language advantageous
  • strong communication skills and autonomously working style
  • teamwork orientated
